Asthma Waikato has been providing community based education services to those affected by respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD and bronchiolitis, in the Waikato for over 40 years.

If you or your child’s asthma is well managed, you will not show any signs or symptoms of asthma; such as coughing, wheezing or being short of breath. Most children with asthma should be able to participate in full school life including sports – even up to the highest levels. We empower you with knowledge so you can move towards a life free of asthma symptoms. We explain to you, how your different medications work, how to correctly use your medication, understand what’s happening in your lungs, the potential triggers for your asthma and ways to manage these.

Contact us for the latest issue of Asthmalink, Asthma Waikato’s newsletter.
